    Based on athlete needs, marketplace demands and brand vision, the Hardgoods Product Developer’s tasked with delivering best-in-class products to the marketplace. Responsible for project management and development activities for the Armada hardgoods categories ski, Armada branded bindings, ski poles and skins.

    What You'll Do

    • Collaborate pro-actively with athletes, sales and marketing teams throughout the I2P process
    • Manage the HG product-line with inputs from sales, marketing and general management
    • Create CAD drawings, develop prototypes, coordinate hill tests for product validation
    • Delivers samples in accordance with the product development calendar
    • Actively manage product development activities from concept phase theough mass production, executing on-time I2P calendar stages and deadlines
    • Oversees all project costs, timelines and objectives are being met
    • Maintains detailed product information within the PLM (Product Line Management) software for all HG products
    • Negotiate product costs with factories to meet the targets set internally
    • Ensures on-time delivery of products to the markets
    • Manage the product master data and ensure all stakeholders needs are met
    • Supports department products throughout lifecycle by reviewing warranty data and proposing changes to products to reduce warranty claims
    • Propose new materials and manufacturing processes to better differentiate Armada Brand HGs in the marketplace
    • Teamwork with Armada and Amer Sports teammates
    • Build a stronger market understanding with competitor awaremess
    • Design and convey ski shapes, materials and other product needs to technical R&D teams

     

    What We're Looking For

    • Good command of English
    • Command of Microsoft Suite, 2D and/or 3D CAD Software (Solidworks, AutoCAD or similar)
    • Marketing knowledge, wintersport knowledge, consumer goods manufacturing
    • Detail oriented & highly focused on completing deliverables on-time
    • Creativity and Innovation: Explore new shapes, materials and manufacturing processes to make new ideas come to life. Balance blue-sky innovations with proven processes
    • Output orientation: A proactive and organized individual with clear communication to other groups within the company
    • Sense of customer service: Understand and integrate the needs of internal/external clients, in order to respond adequately in line with the interest of the company
    • Ability to work as a team member and to collaborate: Promote information sharing and team spirit, contributing to collective efficiency
    • Professional committment: Demonstrate passion and personal investment in order to develop best-in-class products
    • Detail the strategic vision: Communicate, give meaning to, and anticipate the development of their activities
    • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in engineering and/or product management
    • Bachelors of Science, Bachelors of Arts or equivalent
