    Warehouse Manager


    Manages all Distribution center (DC) activities in the Ogden UT DC. Ensures accuracy of inventory and effective performance of the inbound and outbound operations in support of the Amer Sports portfolio of winter and outdoor brands

    What You'll Do

    - Achieve operational excellence in all warehouse areas including inbound, outbound, inventory control, VAS, and Returns within the automated and manual sections of the DC
    - Leverage the use of equipment and manpower to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
    - Conduct regular evaluations of the effectiveness of work methods, procedures, controls, and staffing, to make continual improvements to these areas
    - Ensure the warehouse layout and processes are optimally aligned for maximum efficiency
    - Manage the DC’s financial budget, personnel resources, processes, and service-related objectives to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains to reduce overall cost to serve
    - Analyze, develop, and implement cost effective DC processes and systems that improve service levels, optimize capacity utilization, enhance productivity, increase quality and throughput, and reduce cost of operations while ensuring applicable regulations are met
    - Ensure adequately experienced and trained personnel are in place to meet departmental objectives
    - Support and development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and training
    - Promote a clean and safe working environment (5S) by maintaining compliance with safety guidelines, and developing and maintaining appropriate metrics and benchmarks
    - Ensure all DC operations follow policies and procedures in compliance with appropriate regulatory bodies
    - Conduct analysis related to the DC’s operational and financial KPI’s
    - Assist with the development of an annual operating budget, and ensure operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue, and profit parameters

    What We're Looking For

    - Strong background using WMS/MRP/and or WCS systems
    - Proficiency using Microsoft Office
    - Project Management skills
    - Statistical analysis capabilities
    - Comfortable communicating and collaborating with different personalities, cultures, and experience levels
    - Budgeting and financials
    - 5+ years progressive experience in a fast-paced, high volume distribution operation;
    - 5+ years personnel management experience
    - Experience in the sporting goods industry, specifically Apparel and Footwear
    - Knowledge of SAP
    - Previous experience running warehouse with automation
    - Formal education at Operations, Supply Chain, logistics or other related fields
    - Knowledge at Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
    - P&L and basic business finance knowledge
