    Sales Development Analyst - Salomon


    The Amer Sports and Winter Outdoor Sales Development Analyst works directly with the internal and external account and cross functional teams to analyze, identify, and drive current and future sales. In this role, the Sales Development Analyst is responsible for driving sales with key accounts through analysis of sales trends and stock levels to identify and pursue at once and future sales opportunities. Additional responsibilities include seasonal item set up, coordination and preparation of forecast and demand plans, as well as assist in online merchandizing optimization.

    What You'll Do

    E-Commerce Product Set-Up & Online Optimization
    • Support Amer Sports’ e-commerce accounts’ businesses by managing the item set-up process
    • Complete account-requested vendor forms and use external applications (as directed by the customer) to communicate all necessary information per item set ups
    • Act as the liaison between marketing/commercial/sales and customer accounts to provide images, videos, and other brand content for all set-up requests
    • Assist sales and marketing in product display page auditing to help identify merchandising opportunities
    Revenue Generation
    • Assist sales and marketing in product display page auditing to help identify merchandising opportunities
    • Analyze, identify and pursue areas to drive sales, market share, and generate new business through a consultative approach
    • Support the sales team through analysis and insights to aid in planning assortments aligned with category targets and business development plans
    • Partner with the sales teams to develop strategic sales and promotional opportunities based on market share data, trends, and the market’s competitive landscape
    • Effectively generate and analyze POS reporting tools, and communicate actionable trends and sales opportunities to the sales team
    • Increase revenue and profitability and minimize risk by generating and managing accurate item level demand forecast
    • Assist in the management of flow of goods through the supply chain by working directly with the planning and supply chain teams
    • Assist sales team in effectively managing order book to reduce cancelations, chargebacks, and proactively communicating delays to customer
    Account Building
    • Build and maintain great working relationships with the account teams and all cross-functional areas
    • Build strong relationships with accounts by focusing on specific customer needs, problem solving, inventory inquiries, orderbook management, and prompt follow up

    • Works closely in supporting the sales goals and initiatives by interacting with accounts on a day to day basis and understanding their specific business needs
    • Attend appropriate meetings, including those to trade shows and accounts, to ensure we stay at the forefront of e-commerce support

    What We're Looking For

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Solid Customer Service skills
    • Experience with SAP preferred
    • Attention to detail with outstanding follow-through and time management skills: Able to multi-task and complete all duties on time and completely
    • Exceptional Service Orientation: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with clients
    • Ability to Adapt: Able to quickly change priorities and focus based upon the business demands
    • Self-confidence and excellent communication skills: Able to work independently and communicate with cross-functioning teams
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales environment required
    • 1+ years previous experience with E-Commerce platforms / online marketing strongly desired 
    • Previous experience with research/analysis, buying/replenishment, or customer service within a consumer products organization
    • Passion for sports or outdoor brands strongly desired
    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Travel 20% annually, and as needed
