What You'll Do

We are currently seeking a Sales Development and Operations Intern that will work directly with the Sales organization to support seasonal go to market efforts including the creation of customized customer product files, price lists, UPC reference files, and available to sell reports  The individual will also support the enforcement of brand key projects to improve efficiency and automation of Sales Operations functions. 

                                               

Responsibilities may include:

  • Support seasonal projects including vendor file set ups, UPC file completion, and available to sell reports
  • Support key projects to drive efficiency and automation of sales operations processes
  • Aid project manager in investigating and implementing a solution to automate calculation and payment of sales agency commissions
  • Supports Sales Development Analysts in identifying market and Key Account opportunities for sales growth
  • Assist with additional sales operations responsibilities as assigned

What We're Looking For

This role requires a bachelor's degree (or completion of a degree within 1 year) in Business, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other qualifications include:

  • Solution-oriented thinking: Ability to process and reconcile large amounts of data and recognize problems or opportunities based on that date and offer actionable solutions
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Excellent relationship and communication skills with great ability to work with all levels of the organization as well as external customers, vendors, and business partners
  • Formal Presentation: Ability to present information clearly to large groups in person and in writing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically with advanced Excel functions, including PowerPivot and advanced formulas.
  • Time management: Ability to prioritize and deliver key responsibilities on time
  • Knowledge and interest in the outdoor industry preferred
