What You'll Do

We are currently seeking a Visual Specialist within the eCommerce Merchandising team that will coordinate and implement customer facing visual merchandising on Salomon.com (US & Canada). This role coordinates with Local stakeholders to adapt the Global calendar across campaigns, collections, landing pages, and other various visual merchandising functions.

 

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

  • Actively own and manage the Local site calendar (US & CA)
  • Implement Visual Merchandising initiatives – Campaigns, Collections, Landing Pages, etc.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline for developing site creative asset needs­­
  • Collaborate with the Assortment & Optimization Lead to develop revenue driving collections
  • Coordinate with Local Digital Marketing and Traffic teams to ensure revenue driving site experiences through curation and personalization
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve day-to-day site bugs
  • Develop, monitor, and report on Key Page Performance metrics – Revenue Per Visit, Click Thru Rate, etc.
  • Manage copy writing for NAM locales – English & Canadian French – including managing day-to-day relationships with agencies/free-lancers as needed.

Success Looks Like

A successful Visual Merchandising Specialist consistently:

  • Delivers to deadlines of the Local site calendar
  • Manages Local and Global expectations for visual merchandising, proactively
  • Curates compelling visual merchandising implementations that deliver positive KPI results
  • Finds ways to surprise and delight customers through compelling visual implementations
  • Collaborates with Brand stakeholders to develop local site assets for seasonal campaigns
  • Ensures Salomon.com (US & Canada) is a familiar, comfortable shopping experience for regional customers

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a candidate with 1+ years’ experience in eCommerce Merchandising or site management for a SaaS company.

 

Other qualifications include:

  • Clear, concise communicator across all mediums – written, verbal, visual, and presentation
  • Willingness to develop processes that improve site merchandising fundamentals
  • Data-driven decision making – balancing quantitative & qualitative inputs
  • Highly organized
  • Problem solving and willingness to learn
  • A bias for action that produces successful results
  • Consistently curious to find the root cause and develops solutions to address issues

  • CMS – Drupal, episerver, Contentful, Storyblok, etc.
  • ERP – SAP, Netsuite, Dynamics 365, Magento, Shopify, Big Commerce, company built, etc.
  • Back Office/Platform – Magento, Shopify, Big Commerce, company built, etc.
  • Catalog Management – Akeneo, Salsify, company built, etc.
  • Project Management – Monday, Jira, Trello, Notion, Teamwork, Asana, etc.
  • Ideation & Workshopping – Miro, Mural, Figma, etc.
