Commercial Sales Manager - Snowboard

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Snowboard Commercial Sales Manager to join our team. This individual will have a strong background in sales and management within the snowboard industry, with proven expertise in wholesale and retail strategies, account management, revenue growth, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of our snowboard sales functions, including developing and executing sales plans, building strong partnerships with key accounts, managing inventory and forecasting, and driving revenue in our sales channels. As a key leader on our team, the Snowboard Commercial Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy, expanding our market presence, and ensuring the brand delivers exceptional results while resonating with our core audience of snowboarders.

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the wholesale and retail snowboard markets to drive revenue growth.
• Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners to ensure strong brand representation.
• Oversee sales forecasting, inventory planning, and sell-through analysis to meet company goals.
• Lead and mentor the sales force, setting clear goals and ensuring execution aligns with strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with brand messaging and product launches.
• Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and grow partnerships in emerging markets.
• Monitor sales performance, generate detailed reporting, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and the evolving needs of snowboard consumers to keep the brand ahead of the curve.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in business communications, or related field or equivalent combination of relevant experience.

• Strategic Sales Planning - Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets across wholesale and retail channels.
• Relationship Management - Strong skills in building, maintaining, and growing partnerships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners to ensure long-term success.
• Leadership and Team Development - Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor sales teams to achieve individual and collective goals.
• Analytical and Financial Acumen Competence in sales forecasting, inventory management, performance reporting, and using data-driven insights to drive decision-making.
• Negotiation and Communication Skilled in contract negotiation, conflict resolution, and clear, impactful communication to drive favorable outcomes with partners and internal teams.
• Industry Expertise and Market Awareness Deep understanding of the snowboard industry, consumer behavior, and market trends to position the brand effectively and identify new growth opportunities.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook
• Sales Data Analysis
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales/management, preferably within snowboard industry
• Experience working within retail a plus
• Fluent communication skills in English
• Secondary language a plus
