What You'll Do

We are currently seeking a Business Process Specialist for our Salomon Team. This O2C systems expert provides an intricately maintained package of systems while using in-depth expertise.  They will provide the businesses and various affected departments with the ability to deliver an unparalleled service experience.  This individual will need to think creatively to manage, evaluate and develop the various O2C systems and processes.  This will affect both regional and global areas throughout the business to increase efficiency.  This individual will play an essential role in providing internal and external customers with seamless experience through set up and use of our O2C systems.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform a combination of these essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily that are shared with other specialists in the team: 

  • Maintain pricing for the North American outdoor brands
  • Manage back-office functions in SAP for Customer Experience including: delivery priorities, payment dating, RDD’s, mass orderbook maintenance, etc
  • Stakeholder in sales program review process to ensure smooth automated execution
  • Assist in new account setup to ensure accuracy including managing new Sold To and Ship To account setup requests for EDI partner.
  • Analyze compliance chargebacks, determine and establish process improvements to avoid future chargebacks
  • Lead EDI integration process, collaborating with Sales team to prioritize setups
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to review EDI mapping requirements and execute EDI testing and integration to meet needs of all involved parties
  • Monitor SAP interfaces for IDocs in error
  • Monitor and correct errors for inbound and outbound EDI documents
  • Assist in maintenance of Gentran tables for EDI document mapping
  • Provide SAP training to Key accounts representatives for EDI processing
  • Setup and maintain contract matching settings for EDI accounts
  • Setup and maintain cross reference table for SAP account numbers to customer account locations for ASN and invoice transactions
  • Maintain delivery date adjustment table to translate customer supplied requested shipment and cancel dates to SAP
  • Work with credit team to maintain customer master records for EDI partners
  • Analyze material master and inventory records
  • Review current allocation logic and implement changes to maximize service and revenue
  • Build out allocation analysis and reporting, partner with stakeholders to take appropriate action
  • Review vendor compliance manuals and provide feedback relating to business processes
  • Effectively communicate with multiple departments and brand contacts
  • Identify system and process improvements
  • Create process documentation as needed
  • Lead and participate in special projects including: training, order book maintenance, migrations
  • As needed help with influx of operations workload during busy season & training

What We're Looking For

We seeking a candidate that holds Bachelor’s Degree; however, a combination of education and work experience will be considered.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Information Systems. High School Diploma or GED may be substituted for requirement as determined by leadership
  • 4 years of related work experience in SAP and project management
  • Experience in customer service preferred. Optimally in winter & outdoor sports equipment
  • In depth understanding of SAP, CRM tools (Sales Force), and Order2Cash processes

  • Knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI and EDIFACT standards

  • Knowledge of IDoc structures and processes
  • Support team development and cohesion
  • Some travel may be required for new implementation support, SAP support, and warehouse/freight support
